On Identity

When I was young I attempted to get an identity through attachment to the music of others, and through idolizing those makers of the music;
   also through artificial means such as dress / clothes

When I was older I was given an identity through my relationship with a loved one;

Never have I tried to create my own identity.

To do this is a fearful thing indeed.
