Shooting down Superman
Flying high in the air
My sight distracted by him
Revolutionary
Passionate
Are you my strength,
are you my weakness
flying high,
Destroying everything a normal man should love
My gun poised.
Looking through my sight.
My dreams of a normal life; a normal man
I'm a blue-collar worker. I come home to a loving wife. I come home to a home.
I put down the gun. Look up to Superman.
Land.
Land.

I don't have the Courage, and I don't have the Strength to truly live.
I don't have the Courage, and I don't have the Strength to be happy.

Random Thought
I wish only to be a tool of my own potential; my perceived purpose.

On Living a Good Life
One of the funny characteristics of life, I think, is
Palpable justification for living a good life- with love, courage, and strength, only crystallizes near the end of life.
That could probably be stated better
Difficult to see the importance of the way we run, until we look back on how the race has gone.
But I just wanted to say how I think it's funny-weird, that we only see it clearly at the end.

The Fear of Life
I feel that we are all deep-down, afraid. The variance comes from how we deal with that fear. We may have seek to have relationships with those we perceive as strong, for instinctual safety; we may turn to religion to give us a fundamental belief that gives us courage; we may turn to a violent, rebellious attitude to give us a feeling of safety; we may seek courage through friends, through family; we may construct a facade of strength to attempt to fool others, and ourselves, that we are not afraid; we may seek to avoid our fear through busyness; through driving ahead zealously.
Can such a person exist that has true courage within him/herself? To understand they are afraid- to truly face their fear, and have the true courage, a courage without a source but him/herself, to continue on? Is such a person possible?
Is the singular courageous person even possible, or must that person have an "external" source of their courage?
If the singular courageous person is possible, then what is required? A belief in something? A sense of purpose? A passionate desire for something? What is required to face our fear, and continue moving forward?

What is this cruel world that makes me realize my love so vividly after I have lost it?
